A Musical Holiday With Friends

The Winds were joined by the Ozark Mountains British Brass Band for their 2010 Christmas concert. The OMBBB is British in that its instrumentation is that of the traditional British-style brass band. It uses cornets instead of trumpets, for example, and all the instruments are conical bore, except for the trombones and percussion.

The Arkansas Winds took the stage for the first half of the concert, and the Ozark Mountains British Brass Band, for the second half. Several performers play in both bands, incuding our president, Allen Fields, who plays the F-horn with the Winds and the tenor horn with the OMBBB.
